2-Minute Boho Braids

Laaaaadies, this has been a game-changer for me!

Texas summers + thick/long/curly/unruly/crazy hair = ALL THE SWEAT

(sooo basically I opt to wear my hair down very infrequently in the summer because it usually ends up just looking like a rat's nest in .5 seconds)

This hairstyle is super cute and seriously ANYONE can do it!

Follow along with the video to try it out yourself:

  1. Part your hair in two sections like you're doing pigtails (I'm talking circa 2002 and Limited Too body glitter is optional)
  2. Create a hole by separating two sections with your fingers just ABOVE your ponytail
  3. Flip your ponytail up and away from your face and then pull it through the hole you created (this should form two twists just above your ponytail holder)
  4. If you're going for the "boho"/messy look, use one hand to hold your hair at the ponytail holder while you use the other the pull some of the hair looser in the twists to give a wider/messier look (you can also pull some hair loose around your roots to create more volume and pull some whispy pieces out around your ears
  5. Depending on hair length, you can go down from your first ponytail holder by 2-3 inches and do another section.
  6. Repeat on both sides to desired look!

Pro tip: If you're wanting to dress up the hairstyle a bit, you can curl the ends with a wand to give a more refined look!
